Calcium Carbide Crushing and Upgrading Project Successfully Completed - ZK Assists Acetylene Processing Industry
Recently, Henan Zhengzhou Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereafter called ZK for short) successfully customized and completed the equipment manufacturing, delivery and installation of calcium carbide crushing and lifting projects for customers. These equipment will be used in the acetylene processing industry in the customer's location to meet the growing industrial demand.
Project Introduction
Project process:
This project includes a series of carefully designed steps: starting from forklift feeding, through a series of treatments such as buffer hopper, vibrating feeder, coarse jaw crusher, high-angle belt conveyor, fine jaw crusher, plate chain elevator, etc., to the reaction bin. The process also includes key steps such as material passing through the large bin, vibrating feeder and belt conveyor transportation again, as well as iron remover purification and secondary plate chain elevator lifting. At the end, reversible belt conveyor and dust collector are equipped to ensure the safety and efficiency of the entire production process.
Material situation:
This project mainly processes calcium carbide (calcium carbide), an inorganic compound with the chemical formula CaC2. As an important basic chemical raw material, it is mainly used to produce acetylene gas. Calcium carbide is in the form of white crystalline powder, while industrial products are mostly gray-black blocks, and their cross-section color is usually purple or gray. Since calcium carbide reacts violently with water to produce acetylene and release heat, it has strict requirements on production equipment and environment.
Project Progress
As a new construction project, this project requires the overall design of the workshop to be an environment with a very high explosion-proof level, given that calcium carbide enters the subsequent chemical process directly after crushing and hoisting, and calcium carbide reacts violently with water. With deep knowledge and rich practical experience, ZK’s engineers worked closely with customers to conduct detailed on-site surveys and planning. ZK not only provided authoritative design solutions, but also provided solutions for customers' special needs, thus winning the trust of customers.
Considering the nature of the project as a general contractor, in addition to providing core equipment, ZK is also responsible for the production of silos, non-standard parts and steel structures. On-site production is adopted, with customers providing steel and ZK installing it, which saves costs and improves flexibility and work efficiency.
At present, the project has been installed, and ZK has dispatched an authoritative team of engineers to the customer site to assist in completing various preparations before commissioning.
